We’re a fast-growing print publishing company behind cozy, nostalgic monthly newspapers in creative niches like baking, crochet, quilting, and more. We’re looking for a reliable, proactive Virtual Assistant to help us stay organized, support internal operations, and ensure our customer experience stays top-notch as we scale.

You’ll oversee the quality of our customer support (without needing to answer every email yourself), coordinate outreach with contributors and affiliates, assist with simple research, and help keep our team running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Customer Experience Oversight
  • Review support team responses to ensure tone, accuracy, and quality
  • Maintain and update support macros and internal knowledge resources
  • Jump into support directly when needed (e.g., urgent issues, overflow)
  • Help with onboarding and training new customer support team members as we grow
  • Admin & Operational Support
  • Maintain organized contributor and affiliate spreadsheets
  • Coordinate outreach, scheduling, and follow-ups for interviews and collaborations
  • Gather testimonials, UGC rights, and product feedback from happy customers
  • Manage and schedule social media content across platforms (especially Instagram—we’re overdue for some fresh, consistent energy!

  Skills / Experience

  • Experience writing articles, newsletters, or marketing emails is a strong asset
  • Light Research & Logistics
  • Assist with internal research tasks (e.g. sourcing potential contributors, affiliate programs, publication contacts, etc.)
  • Stay on top of task lists, checklists, and project details

Required Skills 

  • Must be comfortable using ChatGPT (or similar AI tools) to research, draft, and refine content
  • Able to write clear, effective prompts to leverage ChatGPT for writing, ideation, and time-saving workflows

Bonus Points

Experience with the Google Suite, Gorgias, ClickUp, Klaviyo, Notion, Airtable, HelpScout, or similar

Familiarity with email macros, knowledge bases, or team documentation

Light experience in UGC, outreach, or customer research

An interest in crafts, baking, or creative publishing
