high-quality books that position our clients as industry leaders. Our full services publishing
house offers full book ideation and creation, book publishing, book distribution, book
printing, book fulfillment, book PR and media exposure, with placements on national TV,
publications, and even the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square in NYC.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact between
us and our author clients. This person will manage relationships
with authors throughout the entire publishing process, ensuring that projects run
smoothly, expectations are met, and clients feel fully supported. The ideal candidate
will be highly organized, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills to
facilitate seamless collaboration between authors and internal teams.

(Responsibilities Include but may not be limited to the following listed below)
Key Responsibilities:

● Act as the main point of contact for author clients, managing the relationship
from project initiation through to final deliverables.
● Work closely with authors to understand their vision and project goals, translating
these into actionable steps for the our team and documenting everything in
Asana
● Coordinate and facilitate communication between the author clients and
internal teams (editorial, design, marketing, tech, formatting, marketing, etc.) to
ensure clarity and alignment on project requirements.
● Track project progress using Asana, ensuring tasks are completed on time and
within scope, while keeping clients updated on milestones and deliverables.
● Schedule regular check-ins with clients using Calendly links, managing
expectations and addressing any concerns or questions that arise during the
process.
● Organize and lead meetings via Zoom with clients to discuss project progress,
provide feedback, and address any issues or explanation for specific parts of the
process if needed.
● Manage and maintain project documentation and assets in Google Drive,
ensuring authors have easy access to all necessary materials and updates at all
times.
● Provide clients with clear, consistent, and timely communication on project
status, key deadlines, and any potential issues ahead of time. Time management
and scheduling/timeframes are very important in this role.
● Resolve client concerns or conflicts promptly and professionally, working to
maintain positive relationships and client satisfaction so that all clients have an
exceptional experience. This is our NUMBER ONE GOAL here at Game Changer
Publishing.
● Work with internal teams to address any challenges or changes to the project
scope, ensuring both authors and our teams are aligned on next steps.
Communication is key in this role.
● Continuously improve communication processes and workflow efficiencies to
enhance the client experience and streamline project delivery.
● SOP creation and Management to ensure our processes are documented and
up to date at all times.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

● Proven experience as a Project Manager or Client Manager, ideally in the
publishing or creative industries.
● Strong proficiency in Asana for tracking project tasks, deadlines, and milestones.
● Experience managing virtual meetings via Zoom, including the ability to host and
moderate discussions effectively.
● Familiarity with Calendly or calendar software in general for scheduling meetings
and managing client calendars efficiently.
● Advanced skills in Google Drive programs (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for organizing
and sharing project materials.
● Experience with Canva software for SOP and document creation.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and
maintain strong relationships and a positive working relationship with clients and
coworkers.
● Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to
manage multiple projects at once.
● Ability to problem-solve and handle client concerns or conflicts with
professionalism and empathy and be willing to go the extra mile.
● A client-focused mindset, always striving to enhance the client experience and
ensure satisfaction.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
● A Basic knowledge of Amazon and other publishing platforms is a bonus but not
required

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in the publishing or author services industry is highly preferred.
● Knowledge of project management tools and software, particularly Asana,
Zoom, and Google Drive, is a plus.
