Part Time Senior Bookkeeper/Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in conducting periodic reviews of financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and acting as a point of contact for clients. You will also oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, monitor bookkeeping activities for compliance, and supervise and support our Bookkeepers, Clean Up Specialist, and Onboarding Specialist.
Position details
- Hours: 10-15 hours per week
- Pay Range: $20-25/hour depending on experience

List of Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting periodic reviews of financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and maintaining professional communication
- Assist in managing client expectations and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made for accurate financial reporting
- Monitor and verify that all bookkeeping activities adhere to relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Implement quality control measures to review financial records for accuracy and completeness
- Supervise and support our Junior and Senior Bookkeepers Clean Up Specialist, and Onboarding Specialist
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback from clients
- Attend meetings with clients via Zoom and phone
- Analyze client financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and increased profitability
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to clients, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends
- Identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and propose and implement solutions
- Streamline workflows to optimize efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping operations
- Keep detailed and organized records of client interactions, agreements, and project milestones

- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably client facing experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Bachelors in Accounting preferred, but some accounting education is required
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
