We are seeking a long-term, highly motivated and reliable individual to manage all acquisition aspects (buying) of our growing, evolving, and fast-paced land business. If you would consider leaving within the first 2 years, PLEASE do not apply.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform market research, due diligence, and comps analysis for vacant land.
Communicate, negotiate, and regularly follow up with land sellers.
Meticulously manage the acquisition process in our CRMs (training will be provided).
Create purchase documents and deeds for all acquisitions and transfers of property.
Work with title companies and coordinate closings.
Provide weekly acquisition reports to owner.

Familiarity with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and email management

What Helps You Stand Out:
Basic understanding of real estate transactions (purchase agreements, title work, etc.)
Real estate market research, market conditions, comps analysis, and mapping software
Basic CRM software experience (Follow Up Boss, Airtable, Hubspot, LG Pass, etc.)
An eagerness to learn and solve problems
Familiarity with business systems and processes
Document recording and e-filing (Simplifile, etc.)

Pay & Schedule:
This is a part-time role with an average of 15-20 hours/week Monday-Friday & occasional weekend tasks.
The Acquisitions Manager will be hired as a part-time independent contractor (1099). With the right candidate, this could eventually turn into a full-time position with an expanded role and pay increase.
Starting base pay will begin at $15-$20/hour (depending on experience) and will transition to commissions-based pay over a 6-month timeframe.
