What You’ll Do
As a Virtual Bookkeeper, you’ll support nonprofit and for-profit clients by managing their financial operations. You’ll bring clarity to their financial picture and empower them to make informed decisions. While responsibilities may vary by client, key duties include:
Weekly Bill Payment: Manage and ensure timely payments to vendors and contractors.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile client bank accounts weekly and monthly.
Budget Management: Assist clients in developing and monitoring budgets.
Cash Flow Oversight: Analyze and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
Journal Entries & Coding: Accurately enter and categorize financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements (P&L).
Payroll Processing: Manage payroll processes for timely and accurate employee payments.
1099 Preparation & Sales Tax Filing: Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
E-commerce Support: Handle bookkeeping for clients with e-commerce operations.
