We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Project Manager / Client Success Manager to join our team on a contract basis. If you’re someone who thrives on taking ownership, solving problems, and building strong client relationships—all while keeping projects running smoothly—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
As the hybrid Project Manager / Client Success Manager, you’ll wear two hats:
1. Project Management (70%)
o Coordinate and oversee all aspects of client projects, including timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
o Assign tasks to team members (designers, copywriters, developers, etc.) and ensure they’re completed on time and meet quality standards.
o Monitor project progress and troubleshoot any roadblocks.
o Maintain and refine workflows to streamline operations and ensure client satisfaction.
o Use ClickUp to manage tasks and timelines (experience in Asana, Monday, or similar tools is also welcome).
o Prepare reports on project performance, KPIs, and profitability.
2. Client Success Management (30%)
o Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
o Communicate updates, timelines, and results clearly and proactively.
o Collaborate with clients to refine strategies and adjust campaigns based on performance.
o Foster long-term relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
• You anticipate client and project needs before they arise and address them proactively.
• You manage projects and client relationships with minimal oversight, ensuring every detail is accounted for.
• You communicate effectively, ensuring that team members and clients feel confident and supported.
• You identify opportunities for improvement in workflows, client strategies, or reporting and suggest actionable solutions.
• You hold yourself accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate deliverables for services like SEO, PPC, content creation, and social media.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all campaigns align with client goals.
• Translate client feedback into actionable steps for the team.
• Provide regular updates on project status, client feedback, and potential risks without prompting.
• Escalate issues only when necessary, providing solutions or recommendations beforehand.
• Provide end-of-month reporting and insights to clients.
Who You Are
• Experienced: 3+ years of project management and/or client success management experience, ideally in a marketing agency or similar environment.
• Digital Marketing Savvy: You understand the basics of SEO, PPC, and digital marketing and can discuss them confidently with clients.
• Problem-Solver: You don’t just point out issues—you solve them. You’re comfortable making decisions and proposing solutions without waiting for direction.
• Independent Thinker: You thrive in an environment where you’re trusted to take ownership of your work. You don’t need constant check-ins to stay on track.
• Strategic: You understand the bigger picture and can connect daily tasks to larger business and client goals.
• Organized: You live by deadlines, love checklists, and keep every detail accounted for.
• Empathetic Communicator: You build rapport easily and know how to handle client relationships with professionalism and care.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, and reporting software (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio).
• Flexible: Able to juggle multiple projects and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
Work Hours
• This is a flexible role, and you can set your own schedule to fit your needs.
• However, availability for client and team meetings between 9 AM–5 PM EST is required.
