Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
The Communications Manager is passionate about equity and systemic change, and will look to tell the story of our social enterprise and most importantly our Community Partners and Climate Stewards along their respective journeys.

This position will advocate for communities looking to facilitate renewable energy projects serving communities globally with news, information, and updates on renewable energy that serves historically excluded communities.

In this role our communications manager will develop and implement communication strategies, both internally and externally. They are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Creating content: Writing copy for newsletters, memos, press releases, blogs, and more
Managing media: Handling media inquiries and representing the organization at conferences and events
Maintaining brand consistency: Ensuring that all content adheres to the company’s brand
Managing and monitoring communications channels to include:
– Social media,
– Websites,
– Newsletters
– White papers and thought leadership opportunities
– Trade shows
– Swag
– and other external communication channels
Working with senior management: Collaborating with executives to achieve organizational goals
Interviewing stakeholders for content
Managing crises: Ensuring effective communication during times of crisis
Building relationships: Fostering positive relationships with stakeholders
