I had been searching for a remote job since my first son was born 6 years ago. I tried so many different things. I submitted dozens of resumes, but I never even got an interview. I have a Master’s Degree and am a Navy veteran, but I never got a remote job. I just had my second son 3 months ago and I had a renewed drive to work from home. I joined HireMyMom last month and I have just accepted a Full-Time remote job! Also, I have a possibility of a part-time job to do along side it. I can’t believe it! I’m beyond grateful for this platform.

What are your top tips for landing a job or jobs on HireMyMom.com?

What worked best for me was creating a new cover letter for each job. Read through the job completely to make sure you are doing what they need you to. Don’t skimp on the Cover Letters. Use them as a tool to really showcase your abilities and desire to work for them.

What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your work from home journey?

Put together a great system to help you on those days that you don’t feel good.

What do you see as your greatest success in life?

Having my kids is the biggest success of my life and creating a home environment where I can be there for them is top priority.

What is something about you that many people don’t know?

I have been in community theater for 30 years. I’m an avid thespian.
